Itinerary

Here’s a program you won’t find anywhere else because we’re moving away from the clichés of mass tourism to help you discover hidden little paradises

Welcome at Nice airport and transfer to your hotel.

Dinner on your own. We suggest the restaurant – Flaveur**

The Tourteaux brothers, Gaël and Mickaël, are inseparable. They attended the same hotel school in Nice (even taking exams in the same room!), received joint training at the Negresco under Alain Llorca, and shared the same desire to work with quality, authenticity, and flavor while being their own bosses. The result of this fraternal alliance is Flaveur, their brainchild, to which they have dedicated all their energy, earning a Michelin star in 2011 and a second in 2018. How can we summarize the “Tourteaux touch”? It is defined by a certain confidence, audacity, and a well-balanced willingness to take risks. For example, when it comes to choosing between local products and distant spices, they don’t choose: they take both! On one of their plates, a rockfish from the Nice catch meets a fish broth enhanced with vadouvan, a powerful Indian spice blend… it was risky, and it’s a success. Their cuisine is characterized by boldness, finesse, and mastery from start to finish: bravo! We book for you.

Hotel du Couvent, the Luxury Collection 5***** (suite). Welcome to the new Hôtel du Couvent in Nice, a charming establishment nestled in a beautifully restored historic convent. Located in the heart of the city, this boutique hotel offers a unique blend of history and modern luxury. The tranquil atmosphere, combined with its elegant decor, provides a perfect retreat from the bustling streets of Nice. With its prime location, guests are just steps away from the vibrant old town, stunning beaches, and renowned attractions. Whether you are here for a relaxing getaway or to explore the French Riviera, the Hôtel du Couvent promises an unforgettable experience.

Breakfast.

Accompanied by your guide, this day will be dedicated to shopping while discovering the city. We’ll start the day with a visit to the Cours Saleya Market, a vibrant and colorful outdoor market offering a wide variety of fresh products, flowers, and local specialties. We’ll stroll through the aisles where you’ll be tempted by the scents and flavors of Provence. Then, we’ll delve into the history of Old Nice, wandering through its picturesque alleys lined with pastel-colored buildings. We’ll admire the charming architecture and soak up the lively atmosphere of this historic neighborhood.

Lunch on your own during the tour (option to reserve a restaurant before the trip as there’s a risk of restaurants being fully booked on the day of your visit). We recommend the restaurant “chez Davia”.  This charming establishment has been run by the same family since 1953. Initially imagined by Davia, the grandmother, it was taken over in 1985 by Alda, the mother, who is now retired. Since 2016, it’s been Pierre Altobelli, the third generation, who, after an impressive career in Michelin-starred restaurants in France and Asia, prepares delicious Niçoise recipes. Everything here is carefully curated, with products chosen with great attention. Enjoy these dishes in a delightful retro bistro setting, preserved in its original state. An absolute favorite. We book for you.

Afternoon shopping with your guide.

Around 6:00 PM, gather at “Mirazur”, one of the most prestigious restaurants on the French Riviera for a cooking class with a 3-star Michelin chef Mauro Colagreco, internationally renowned and voted best restaurant in the world in 2019.

Mirazur, located in the charming town of Menton on the French Riviera, is a culinary gem overseen by the visionary chef Mauro Colagreco. With three Michelin stars, Mirazur offers a dining experience that harmonizes innovative flavors with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coastline. Chef Colagreco ‘s inventive dishes, inspired by local ingredients and global influences, celebrate the region’s culinary heritage while showcasing his Argentine roots. Committed to sustainability, Mirazur sources ingredients ethically and supports local farmers and fishermen. This commitment to quality and environmental responsibility, coupled with its stunning setting, makes Mirazur a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking a memorable gastronomic experience. Master class according to the chef’s availability

Return transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel du Couvent.

Breakfast.

Departure to Monaco to admire the rich French Riviera from the sea with the majestic Alps on the horizon. Visit The Car Collection of H.S.H. the Prince. In the late 1950s, Prince Rainier III, an automobile enthusiast, began his collection of vintage cars. This unique 3500m2 exhibition showcases nearly a hundred automobiles, ranging from the 1903 DE DION BOUTON to the 2013 LOTUS F1. The collection includes HISPANO SUIZA, ROLLS ROYCE, LINCOLN, FACEL VEGA, DELAGE, DELAHAYE, PACKARD, HUMBER, NAPIER, FERRARI, MASERATI, LAMBORGHINI, ALFA ROMEO, the LEXUS from the 2011 Princely wedding, and more. Additionally, it features race cars that have made their mark in the Monte Carlo Rally and F1 cars from the Monaco Grand Prix.

Visit the Oceanographic Museum. With its immense aquarium housing 6,000 varieties of marine life, the Oceanographic Museum is a treasure for any lover of marine fauna and flora. Founded by Prince Albert I in 1910, it offers a breathtaking plunge into the oceans, uncovering all its mysteries. The Lagoon, a true coral reef recreated within the museum, is the cherry on top of a visit you won’t regret.

Lunch on your own. We recommend « Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris*** ». It’s hard to talk about Louis XV without mentioning Alain Ducasse. His existence is synonymous with superlatives. The boy from Orthez with a love for the Mediterranean, a brilliant chef, and businessman, who became a Monégasque citizen, now heads an empire of over 30 establishments across all continents. At just 33 years old, he earned three Michelin stars at Louis XV, a standard that has never faltered. The famous “Garden of Provence” menu centered around vegetables, launched here in Monaco on May 27, 1987, has been a cornerstone of French gastronomy for the past thirty years. Alain Ducasse’s signature style is showcased here by his loyal lieutenant, Emmanuel Pilon. They celebrate the purity of the product and the goddess of the Mediterranean, always with mastery. We book for you.
