HAMEAU ALBERT 1er 5***** (Luxe room).

The Hameau Albert 1er Hotel in Chamonix was founded in 1903. Nestled in the heart of Chamonix, the Hameau Albert 1er is an iconic five-star establishment that seamlessly blends traditional Alpine charm with contemporary elegance. This family-run hotel offers a unique experience through a collection of chalets and historic buildings set in a lush park with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc.

Accommodations range from refined rooms to private chalets, designed to provide comfort and privacy amidst stunning natural surroundings. The hotel is also a culinary destination, boasting the two-Michelin-starred Albert 1er restaurant, where local produce meets Mediterranean-inspired flavors. For a more relaxed dining experience, La Maison Carrier offers a cozy mountain-style ambiance.

The hotel’s spa, featuring an indoor/outdoor pool, hammam, and sauna, invites guests to unwind year-round. During the summer, the gardens and surrounding area offer countless opportunities to connect with nature, with activities such as hiking, paragliding, and rock climbing.

The Hameau Albert 1er is the perfect destination for those seeking a luxurious, tranquil retreat with authentic Alpine character, all while enjoying the cultural and natural richness of the region.

Lunch on your own. We recommend one of the hotel’s restaurants: Maison Carrier. To immerse yourself in the universe of Maison Carrier is to step back in time, into the charm of an old alpine farm exuding the aromas of aged wood and hearty dishes reminiscent of grandmother’s cooking. This Paysan-style restaurant owes its character to Pierre Carrier and architect Bernard Ferrari, who crafted a space where rustic charm meets exceptional Mont Blanc views. Indoors, historical wood paneling and vintage furnishings captivate, while outdoors, a scenic terrace enhances every moment, culminating in a feast for both the eyes and the palate. We book for you.

Guided visit of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, nestled in the Arve Valley at the foot of Mont Blanc (4,810 m), is an iconic alpine destination blending history and exploration. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, the valley flourished under the influence of Benedictine monks in the 11th century. By the 18th century, Chamonix attracted European naturalists and tourists, captivated by its landscapes, and became the birthplace of mountaineering in 1786 with the ascent of Mont Blanc by Jacques Balmat and Michel Paccard. The arrival of the railway in 1901 and the rise of luxury hotels established it as a favorite destination for elites, solidifying its role as a pioneer in alpine tourism.

Return to your hotel for a 1 hour yoga session.

Dinner on your own. We recommend the hotel’s restaurant La table Albert 1er, one Michelin star. Albert 1er, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Chamonix, embodies the perfect harmony between high-altitude grandeur and refined gastronomy. Led by the talented and creative chef Damien Leveau and Perrine Carrier, the fifth generation of a passionate family, this establishment blends culinary inventiveness with a rich history and alpine sensitivity.

In a minimalist décor inspired by the Chamonix peaks and designed by architect Lionel Adam, every detail, from tableware to carefully selected ingredients, reflects its alpine identity. The tasting menus, such as Call of the Peaks or Alpine Reflections, offer a sensory journey where flavors and emotions intertwine.

In the dining room, Raquel Ramos Mérida enhances the experience with her attentive service, while sommelier Youri Greffe showcases a wine list reflecting 120 years of history. Lastly, the QuartzBar, inspired by glacial seracs, completes this enchanting escape with a warm and musical atmosphere. We book for you.

Breakfast.

Departure for Chamonix and Mont Blanc. Ascend to the Aiguille du Midi: one of the highest cable cars in the world lifts you to an altitude of 3,842 meters in just 20 minutes. The view is breathtaking! You can also experience the extreme sensation of the Step into the Void (subject to opening).

Lunch on your own in the center of Chamonix or at the Montenvers restaurant.

Departure for the “Mer de Glace” (ice sea): you’ll travel aboard a charming little red cogwheel train, ascending 1,000 meters in elevation. Upon arrival at an altitude of 1,913 meters, you’ll have to descend a few steps (about 400, which you’ll need to climb back up later, of course). But the spectacle of the Mer de Glace and its ice cave, reshaped each year, is worth the effort.

Then, if the weather permits, some free time for mountain shopping in the pedestrian streets of Chamonix. Return to your hotel.

1 hour yoga session.

For dinner we recommend the restaurant “Auberge du bois Prin”. In a chic and contemporary setting facing Mont Blanc, Emmanuel Renaut’s team crafts a menu celebrating the Alpine terroir, drawing inspiration from the in-house garden and foraging. The result is stunning, with modern, generous, and flavorful dishes: beet tartare with celery and horseradish cream; roasted venison loin with stuffed cabbage and game sauce; citrus soufflé… To top it all off, the view is breathtaking, especially from the terrace. We book for you.

1 hour yoga session.

Departure to Annecy, nicknamed the ‘Venice of the Alps,’ is a charming town by Lake Annecy, famous for its picturesque canals and its medieval old town. In winter, it offers snow-covered landscapes. With its Savoyard cuisine and warm atmosphere, Annecy is an unmissable destination in France.

Visit to Old Annecy: In its cobbled streets, admire the colorful houses and discover the Palais de l’Isle, an iconic monument of Annecy.

For lunch, we recommendLe Clos des Sens 3***”. This three-Michelin-star restaurant is located in a beautiful estate on the heights of Annecy, where Chef Franck Derouet and his partner Thomas Lorival create a cuisine focused on plant-based and lake-inspired ingredients, with a locavore approach where all the ingredients come from their garden or producers within 100 km. Each dish, blending poetry and modern art, highlights seasonal fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. The work on lake fish is exceptional, with creations such as raw féra enhanced by a garum or matured pike cooked like grilled meat. The wine list features winemakers from the Alpine region, while the “food and juice” pairings explore new flavor discoveries. This place offers an extraordinary sensory experience. We book for you.

Afternoon: If the weather permits, enjoy a mini cruise on Lake Annecy, taking in the snow-covered landscapes and surrounding mountains.

Visit to the Château d’Annecy: We explore this medieval castle that offers art exhibitions and stunning views of the city and the lake.

We suggest stopping by a local pastry shop, like “Les Gâteaux de Sophie,” to indulge in sweet treats and hot chocolate. Return to Chamonix.

For the last dinner in Chamonix we recommend the restaurant “Le Matafan”.

Located within the legendary Hôtel Mont-Blanc, in an elegant contemporary setting with a central fireplace, the restaurant offers a cuisine that blends traditional recipes (truffle Lyonnais sausage) with more modern preparations (pigeon, endives, ginger broth), not forgetting the wellness menu. The terrace overlooking the large swimming pool is perfect for sunny days. We book for you.

Overnight at your hotel.

Breakfast.

Departure to Geneva for a city tour. Discover Geneva’s main historical and cultural sites, such as St. Peter’s Cathedral, the United Nations Palace, the “Jet d’Eau”, the English Garden, and the Reformation Wall. This tour helps you get a good orientation of the city.

Check-in at the hotel and drop off luggage at the storage area while waiting for the rooms to be available. HOTEL LES ARMURES 5***** (Deluxe room).

Lunch on your own in town. We recommend the Restaurant “Tosca 1*”. At Tosca (one Michelin star), a well-known spot in the Eaux-Vives neighborhood famous for its iconic jet d’eau, Italian cuisine is taken seriously! The décor, created by a contemporary Italian artist, pays homage to the arts and culture of the Italian Renaissance, with a romantic ambiance filling the room. In the kitchen, Ivan Baretti, an authentic Florentine chef trained at L’Arpège in Paris and formerly head chef at Il Lago, crafts flavorful dishes using top-quality ingredients that effortlessly impress. Not to be missed is the fine selection of Tuscan wines, beautifully presented, and the friendly, efficient service. We book for you.

Afternoon free to explore the city or go shopping.

For dinner we recommend the restaurant “L’Atelier Robuchon 2**”. The gastronomic restaurant (2 Michelin stars) of the luxury hotel The Woodward, on the shores of Lake Geneva, exudes elegance. In a setting dominated by dark wood and vivid red, guests can choose to sit at high tables or at the counter with a view of the open kitchen, where they can order a tasting menu, a vegetarian option, or one of the “small plates” available on the à la carte menu. We book for you.
