Certainly! A daywise itinerary for the Jomsom Muktinath Trek in Nepal spanning 14 days

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

  • Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, and relax.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

  • Guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s cultural and historical landmarks, including UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)

  • Scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 minutes) or drive (6-7 hours).

Day 4: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (2,720m), Trek to Kagbeni (2,810m)

  • Early morning flight to Jomsom, trek to Kagbeni, a scenic village at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Jhong rivers (3-4 hours).

Day 5: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,760m)

  • Trek to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, known for its temple and 108 water spouts (4-5 hours).

Day 6: Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m)

  • Descend to Jharkot village, visit the monastery, continue trekking to Marpha, famous for its apple orchards and Tibetan-style houses (5-6 hours).

Day 7: Marpha to Kalopani (2,530m)

Day 10: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m) and Trek to Tadapani (2,630m)

  • Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise views over the Himalayas. Descend to Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani (6-7 hours).

Day 11: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m)

  • Trek through rhododendron forests to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village with views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Himchuli (3-4 hours).

Day 12: Ghandruk to Nayapul, Drive to Pokhara

  • Descend to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (4-5 hours trek, 1.5 hours drive).
